Atlanta GLOW's board of directors is comprised of strong and engaged local individuals from a variety of backgrounds, who are each vitally involved in a comprehensive process of program assessment, planning, implementation and performance measurement. This process includes, but it not limited to:


  1. Being knowledgeable, engaged and responsive to the specific and diverse needs of our service community,

  2. Ensuring the effectiveness of program language and outreach strategies in reaching target audiences, and

  3. Making adjustments in activities to ensure our outcomes are not only met, but relevant and appropriate.

Gratefully, 100% of our board is directly involved in supporting our operation needs, and their continued advocacy and leadership, including the identification of new members who can contribute, will further strengthen our programs’ long-term sustainability and commitment to addressing the gender, ethnic, geographic, systemic, social and economic barriers of our target communities.
